Coach Michael Reed is a seasoned football coach with an extensive career spanning multiple roles, including wide receiver coach, head coach, track and field coach, and defensive coordinator. Known for his leadership and passion for developing players, Reed has built a reputation for his ability to elevate teams and individuals to reach their full potential.

A proud alumnus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), Reed graduated in 1983 with a degree in Communications. His athletic prowess was evident from a young age, having excelled in both football and baseball during his high school years at Washington High School in Los Angeles. From 1974 to 1977, Reed competed as a wide receiver and quarterback, earning recognition as the Southern League Most Valuable Player and a spot as an All-Los Angeles City performer in both sports.

Reed’s coaching journey has seen him take on various roles in football, where he has successfully guided teams as a wide receiver coach and head coach. His ability to work with athletes in different capacities, whether on offense or defense, is a testament to his versatility and knowledge of the game. Additionally, his experience as a track and field coach further showcases his understanding of athletic development across different sports.
Outside of coaching, Reed is a dedicated family man, married with two children.
