Bio
Coach Benny has been coaching basketball for 20 plus years, at all levels that include grassroots, high school and Junior College. Most recently coached as an assistant coach in the NCAA Division 2 National Championship Game for CAL STATE DOMINGUEZ HILLS 2024-2025 Season. Also serves as Associate Head Coach at LA SOUTHWEST COLLEGE since 2023. He also serves and help out at Cypress High School. Coach Benny worked in the Finance/Banking for over 25 years, after playing his college career for legendary CSUDH Coach Dave Yanai (John Wooden Award Winner), at Cal State LA (1997-1999). Prior to his time at Cal State LA, Coach Benny starred at LA Valley College, where he was named Co-MVP of the Western State Conference and also earned All State Juco recognition (1997).
