Southwest shows it has what it takes to compete in 62-49 loss at San Jose City

Los Angeles Southwest College was unable to recover from a second-quarter surge by San Jose and fell 62–49 on the road. After leading early, Southwest was outscored 21–10 in the second period, creating a gap that held through the remainder of the game.

San Jose, CA. - LA Southwest opened the game with a 14–10 advantage after the first quarter, but San Jose shifted momentum in the second with a 21-point frame to take a 31–24 lead into halftime.
