Cougars dominate San Bernardino Valley on the road, 98-75
| San Bernardino, CA- LA Southwest controlled the game from the opening minute and carried that momentum all night in a 98–75 win over San Bernardino Valley. The Cougars started fast with a three from Kelis Jones at 9:44 in the first quarter, followed by a layup from Rian Dillihunt at 9:17 to make it 5–0. Southwest pushed the lead to 10–4 by the 6:49 mark, using turnovers and quick scores to set the pace. By the end of the first quarter, Southwest was ahead 28–15.
The second quarter stretched the margin even further. Jones hit another three at 9:07, and Destiny Hurt-Floyd scored consistently inside, including a jumper at 8:28 and a layup at 8:10. Southwest's defense continued to force mistakes, and by halftime the Cougars led 56–29. The third quarter opened with free throws from Star Hernandez at 9:33, and the Cougars kept full control. Hurt-Floyd scored again at 7:40, Dillihunt added a layup and free throw at 7:28, and Southwest pushed the lead to 70-plus midway through the quarter. Whittle's layup at 3:03 and several defensive rebounds helped the Cougars finish the third up 82–52. In the fourth, Southwest stayed steady and closed the game out. Hernandez scored at 8:18, Trahan added a tip-in at 2:05, and Jones, Hurt-Floyd, and Whittle continued to secure key rebounds and possessions. Even as SBVC made small runs late, the Cougars remained in control from start to finish.
